This week, among the history shifting events here in South Africa with Jacob Zuma's judgement being overturned, there was also some other interesting news!
I'm glad that we're still here!
The Large Hadron Collider was fired up and we're apparently all still herezajkekukja.....

Hmmm... this post is dangerously close to further percolating the myth that a: the LHC was actually going to do any collisions on Wed 10th Sept and b: that there is even the remotist chance that it would create a black hole at all...
I'll forgive you though, since you linked to NAtional Geographic with handy video of head honcho science man who explained that too...
WHAT!? We're not going to be sucked into a black hole!? And here I was giving away all my computers (in fact the Apple Mac I posted to you would need to be returned please .... ;-)
Great to hear from you Murray! One day you'll have to do a post explaining all the ins and outs of this stuff to me... My theological mind needs the precision of your scientific brain to explain it!
Blessings,
D
... hmmmm... well you know what the postal system is like these days... I never received any Apple Mac ...*ahem* *ahem* *cough* *cough*
