Anyone for a holiday in Mozambique... Sometimes we forget that we live in Africa!
Those who know my wife will testify to just how remarkable and special she is! Megan is a loving wife, a loving and caring companion in ministry. she is beautiful, kind, and far more 'Christian' that I will ever be. Moreover, she is a respected business woman, having been the primary breadwinner in our family since we married.
I could not wish for any better! I love her and cherish our life together!
So, I have been thinking about what I could do for her that will let her know how special she is, and how much I appreciate and adore her.
A friend suggested a romantic holiday in an exotic location... We have just such a place on our doorstep. It is called Mozambique... However, I received the following warning (click on the image to enlarge it)....
Perhaps if I love her this much we should just stay home! It is safer, and the lights are bound to go out at some stage (no thanks to ESKOM!)

Dion - Mozambique is a WONDERFUL place to go and visit, and I wouldn't stress too much about lions as long as you take your "poop-scoop" along with you.
Of greater concern is the possibility of burying your car in some of the largest potholes on God's great earth (never to be seen again), having your indicator lenses unscrewed and sold for spares, and gaining about 10 kg courtesy of all those LM prawns!
However, and on a serious note, Mozambique is a malaria area, and some of those mozzies have jets under their wings. But as long as you take the necessary muti, wear long-sleeved clothing, break out the nets at nights, and slap that vile-smelling green gunge all over your body, you'll be fine.
Go - you'll regret it if you pass up the opportunity.
congrats on the milestone.
congrats too on overtaking hQ197's little light on amatomu.
cheers
Wondeful to hear about succesful marriages and milestones. It is like the standing stones of the past commemorating an event, so why not put up a stone somewhere. PS If you need a 4x2 Double Cab to go somewhere nearby you can borrow mine. Congratulations to both of you.
Congratulations to you both! I just love being married - and all the challenges and fun along the way!Hope the power WAS out so that you had no choice but to share the candlelight......
Love & blessings to you both.
