Asus eepc? Any ideas?

Yup, stuck in traffic again... It seem to be the only time I get to post to my blog these days! Busy times!!

Does anyone out there know if the Asus eepc is available anywhere in South Africa? It looks like a great ultra portable pc. I must say that I quite like the idea of Linux on a PC of that size.

I believe that it has OpenOffice on it. That would be great to work on books, talks, etc. on a laptop with that small form factor.

Hi Dion, Maybe just mail to the blog from your CellPhone but I am sure you know that. What I really wanted to ask is your comment on my last sermon #3 in a series I am doing at Lanseria. I am going back to basics and am posting the outlines of a series of 9 on my blog as I do them. Blessings and Thanks.

If you want to know how good this ithing is, its worth the £299 for the 8Gb with wifi. I was recently in lonodn and used one for short period. IT is Linux based and so theref for you can customise it anywhich way you like. It comes standard with all the free firefox, thunder brid etc and OPEN OFFICE. it is about as big as an A5 notepad in reality it is well contructed and very well built. Buy it in the UK they will send it to your anywhere as long as it is paid for in advance! Use a store on Tottenham court road in London they are VERY competitive and if you pay over the phone by card along with the postage to your home the only thing aside from roayl mail losing the thing is you have to insure it which will cost about £30. Door to door it will take between four and six weeks and you havew to hope the duane here dont ask for thier bit too.

IF you can afford it get one it is well worth it!
